This piece is about our interaction in North America with wildlife in urban areas. It is increasingly becoming a problem. They are hidden in plain sight. We are sharing our homes and environment with them, like it or not. Bears break into cars, raccoons live in trash cans.
The dress is constructed of astroturf, tree bark, fake fur, vinyl, and taxidermy forms. The roads are constructed of toy cars and tracks and rattlesnake taxidermy forms. There are toy animals and kitchen canister houses. The headdress is mad of a birdcage, feathers, plush eagle, miniature trees, battery operated birds and wiglet nest, foam and astroturf. The model is wearing wild animal contacts and patriotic lip tattoos and feather lashes. The hair in the back is going through a squirrel taxidermy form covered in astroturf.
